There is a lovely gravelled path under a canopy of leaves through the forest down to Reitendorf. Here there are

and a bakery. You continue along Grazerstraße and over the Elisabeth Bridge into the centre of Bad Ischl.

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY HOLIDAY

If you arrive by train, we would be happy to pick you up from the station. We can also pick up your pre-paid food and drinks if required. (Please arrange with us at least one day in advance).

You will find a completely newly built wooden house made of natural materials, built exclusively by local craftsmen. The power supply is provided by our own photovoltaic system.

The large tiled oven provides extra cosy warmth. The logs for this come from our own woodland. Fresh herbs can be harvested from the raised beds in front of the house. Numerous fruit trees around the house are available to you.

The nearest bus connection is in Reitendorf about

12 minutes walk from the house. From here you can travel with the Post-bus in any direction. From Strobl to Gosau and also to Mozart’s city, SALZBURG,

(about an hour). From Bad Ischl train station you can reach all the surrounding areas by train and enjoy the views as you travel through the landscape, past Lake Traun or along Lake Hallstatt. To get to Hallstatt you take the connecting boat across the lake which is a wonderful way to get there.

Every Saturday and Sunday, there is a DIRECT SERVICE to VIENNA, without the need to change trains which can get you to Vienna in 3 hours.
